The Reason for the Season....

Christmas is just around the corner and though we have wrapped up our groups for the year, many of us continue with our hectic schedules.  Baking, planning, shopping, errands, wrapping, eating and celebrating.  Though the stress of Christmas is associated with fond memories and the making of new traditions, we often forget one very important ingredient: Christ.  As Christmas nears, our hearts ought to focus on our gratitude towards our Savior.  We ought to remember who we are "in Christ" and realize the grace and guidance that His presence here on earth has given us.  There is no time like now to "be still and know that He is God".  So this December, as we wind down and close in on the reason for the season, let's be sure to take time WITH Him, as opposed to just merely talking ABOUT Him.  There is no better gift we can give our Lord than that of our time and hearts.  No shopping or wrapping required.  Merry Christmas ladies!
